What does this mean exactly?
Love God
You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind… Luke 10:27
God alone, in all the universe, is worthy of our worship. He is the object of our greatest desires and the center of all we do. We are here to love God with every aspect of our lives in response to the grace found in the gospel.
Grow Together
… we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love. Ephesians 4:15-16
In Christ, we don’t live for ourselves. We are part of God’s family. As members of God’s family, we are here to love one another in response to the grace we receive from faith in Christ.
Share Christ
”For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes. Romans 1:16
We want the whole world to know Jesus and to hear the good news. We are here to serve our neighbors and share the gospel with those who do not believe.
