Bags of Hope
Bags of Hope is an annual orphan care project where they provide duffel bags to children in Foster Care, embroidered with their name and filled with age appropriate comfort items (i.e. Pillow Pets, journals, fleece blankets, etc…) Often times children in foster care store their personal belongings in a trash bag, because they are not provided anything else. It is the goal of Bags of Hope to provide these children with something of their own with these duffel bags and to bless them with gifts they would appreciate.
We will have a display with ornaments at the back of the sanctuary. The donation is $25 to fund 1 duffel bag and take 1 ornament and pray for that child. Donations can be given through the envelopes. Checks should be made to His Providence Church.
Volunteering for Bags of Hope
There are many ways to get involved with Bags of Hope! The first and easiest is to PRAY! Another easy way to be a part of what we’re doing in our community is to GIVE via the ornament donations.
